  Tim Vaughan Stable Visit & Chepstow Races by coach (From Newbury)
  Date: Saturday 12th October
  ADVANCE BOOKING ESSENTIAL
  A visit to Tim Vaughan’s yard followed by a visit to Chepstow Racecourse for their “Jump Legends” Day. This is also a reciprocal day for Newbury Members.

  NATIONAL HUNT SEASON PREVIEW
  Date: Tuesday, 29th October at 8pm
  Venue: Copper King Bar – Newbury Racecourse

  The National Hunt season preview is a firm favourite in the Club’s annual calendar and we can now confirm that Nicky Henderson, Gemma Gracey-Davison and David Williams from Ladbrokes will be part of the line-up. We also hope to add a locally based jockey to the above line-up. I am sure you will feel that this meeting will provide a mouth-watering curtain raiser to the main part of the jumps season and should not be missed.

  Admission to the event is £2 for Members and £5 for non-members. Raffle in support of the injured jockeys fund. Pay bar available.

   

  VISIT TO DAN SKELTON’S LODGE HILL STABLES at SHELFIELD GREEN, ALCESTER.
  Date: Thursday, 31st October

  Dan Skelton needs no introduction as he has been the high profile assistant to Paul Nicholls for nine years. Now training on his own account at Lodge Farm, Alcester Dan has invited the Club to visit and see third lot work on the gallops together with a tour of the yard and facilities.

  There is racing at Stratford on Avon in the afternoon which is a reciprocal meeting for Newbury members. The course being only 15 minutes from the stables.
